Nadezhda Fenly Mejía is an Indigenous Woman from the Miskitu people, from the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast. For the past 13 years, as part of FIMI’s team, she has supported various processes of struggle against violence, for the individual and collective human rights of Indigenous Women.

She studied business administration and obtained a diploma in strengthening the leadership of Indigenous Women at the Intercultural Indigenous University (UII).Nadia’s people, and in particular the women of the Miskitu People, suffered and continue to suffer from racism and discrimination.
