Rabiatou Ahmadou

Political Participation and Advocacy Coordinator

Rabiatou Ahmadou is a Mbororo Indigenous Woman from Cameroon. She specializes in strengthening the skills of Mbororo Women for their life and to generate income, in adult literacy and in the education of girls through mentorship.

Rabiatou served as Foreign Affairs Officer at the Cameroon Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2014 to 2021, and as Desk Officer for Political and Security Affairs at the Department in charge of Bilateral Relations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She currently works as a Senior Program Officer at the Women’s Development Organization (WDO), an arm of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

She has a degree in Economics, a master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, a diploma in Public Policy and a professional certificate in International Trade Negotiations and Policies.

Rabiatou’s work at the Mbororo Social and Cultural Development Association (MBOSCUDA) has impacted the lives of the Mbororo Women of the Northwest Region. They were empowered not only in the socioeconomic realm, but also in aspects of their family and personal life.
