This project aimed to empower Mbororo Women and Girls who have been displaced by the conflict in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon. To achieve this, training was offered on how to handle the different types of violence experienced by Indigenous Women.

A workshop was held to educate the leaders of various Mbororo Women’s associations about women’s rights, gender-based violence and climate change, as well as to tell government leaders about the need to protect the rights of the women and girls displaced by the conflict. The training was attended by four government officials, six civil society organizations, thirty Mbororo women leaders and six leaders from the host community.
