Grants for groups and organizations led by Indigenous Women

At FIMI’s Ayni Fund, we know that the leadership and wisdom of Indigenous Women have the power to transform realities. That is why we are opening our 2026 Call for Proposals: to walk alongside organizations that, through their projects, promote the full exercise of our individual and collective rights.

What does the Ayni Fund offer?
We are not only a financial fund; we provide comprehensive support to strengthen the organizational fabric of communities through:

Financial grant: Direct financial resources for the implementation of your initiatives.
Technical accompaniment: Advice, tools, and ongoing guidance throughout the development of your projects.

Who can apply?
This invitation is exclusively for groups and organizations of Indigenous Women that have not previously received support from this fund. We value and support proposals with different scopes and levels of impact:

📍 Community, local, and grassroots initiatives.
📍 Projects with national and regional scope.

Our 7 Priority Thematic Areas
We seek to support projects aimed at community transformation in the following vital areas:

  1. Economic empowerment of Indigenous Women
  2. Access and rights to land and territorial resources
  3. Climate change resilience and disaster risk reduction
  4. Prevention and elimination of all forms of violence against Indigenous Women and Girls
  5. Political participation and advocacy
  6. Holistic health, well-being, and care of Indigenous Women
  7. Indigenous wisdom, art, culture, and sports

How to submit your proposal
We want your application to be successful. That is why we have prepared the Implementation Guide, a document where you will find all the guidelines, eligibility requirements, formats, and deadlines for the call in detail.

Proposals will be accepted from June 1 to June 30, 2026.
